Job summary

Impact Staffing in Midtown Atlanta is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to deliver instrumentation systems from proposal to customer acceptance, with significant growth potential as the business expands.

You will own scope, schedule, cost, and quality across multiple concurrent projects, build plans, manage forecasts and margins, support proposals, and coordinate FAT, with occasional travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing concurrent engineering projects through the full life cycle.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field, or equivalent industrial or military experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, EAC, and margin analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.
• PMP certification preferred.
• SAP or similar ERP experience.
• Nuclear power or nuclear I&C experience, ASME NQA-1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own scope, schedule, cost, and quality across a portfolio of concurrent engineering projects.
• Build project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track performance against them.
• Manage forecasts, EAC, and margins, including percentage-of-completion inputs for monthly reporting.
• Support proposals with estimates, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Serve as the primary customer contact and manage change orders.
• Lead project teams across Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality.
• Coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) through project closeout.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites (10% or less).

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Project financial experience, including budgeting, forecasting, EAC, and margin analysis
• Microsoft Project and Excel, or equivalent tools
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams
• PMP certification (preferred)
• SAP or similar ERP experience
• Commercial nuclear power or nuclear I&C experience, including ASME NQA-1 (preferred)
