Job summary

Genesis Technical Staffing, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager for an engineering consulting firm in Cincinnati, OH.

You will lead multi-discipline engineering and capital projects from concept through execution, coordinating internal teams, clients, and contractors to deliver safely and on schedule. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of PM experience in engineering/EPC environments; PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in engineering/EPC/industrial consulting.
• Experience managing industrial or manufacturing projects (life sciences, C&F, chemical, or advanced manufacturing preferred).
• Strong understanding of engineering design processes and project controls.
• Proficiency with scheduling and reporting tools (MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering and capital projects from front-end planning through detailed design and execution support.
• Serve as primary client contact, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Develop and manage scope, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate multi-discipline engineering teams (process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, structural, automation).
• Track progress, manage change orders, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and codes.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, vendor documents, and contractor inputs.
• Support procurement activities, including vendor selection and equipment reviews.
• Lead project meetings, prepare status reports, and present updates to clients and leadership.
• Support construction and commissioning activities as required.

Position Summary

Genesis is seeking an experienced Project Manager for ourengineering consulting firmin one of multiple offices to lead multi-discipline engineering and capital project efforts from concept through execution. This role is responsible for managing scope, schedule, budget, and coordination across internal teams, clients, and contractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical related field
• 5+ years of project management experience within an engineering, EPC, or industrial consulting environment
• Experience managing industrial or manufacturing projects (life sciences, food & beverage, chemical, or advanced manufacturing preferred)
• Strong understanding of engineering design processes and project controls
• Proficiency with project scheduling and reporting tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent project management training
• Experience working in regulated environments (FDA, GMP, cGMP)
• Familiarity with capital project execution, equipment installation, and construction coordination
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
