Job description

Grow your career with this growing company based in Atlanta, Georgia!

Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead electrical engineering for capital projects, facility expansions, and process upgrades. This position will support projects from concept development through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and closeout.

Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, the engineer will serve as the Company's electrical technical representative when working with EPC firms, consultants, utilities, equipment suppliers, contractors, and internal project teams. Instrumentation and controls responsibilities will focus primarily on electrical interfaces and coordination.

Experience in advanced recycling, chemical processing, refining, plastics, renewable fuels, or related industries is needed to succeed in this role.

Must be authorized to work in the USA without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has a strong combination of project management experience and electrical/instrumentation technical engineering skills. He needs someone who can manage projects but also has enough technical depth to understand the work they are responsible for reviewing, develop scopes of work, evaluate technical deliverables, and effectively manage engineering contractors and vendors.

The technical background is important, but for this role he also needs someone who has experience taking ownership of a substantial project and managing it from engineering and scope development through execution and completion.
