Job summary

Apple Inc. in San Diego, California, is seeking an Engineering Project Specialist to support hardware and software teams and carrier partners with testing and device lifecycle activities.

You will coordinate allocations of engineering hardware prototypes, shipments, documentation, and logistics across regional teams while driving process improvements and ensuring timely delivery of testing devices.

• Experience with AI tools / frameworks.

Responsibilities

• You will work the various carrier regional teams to ensure correct allocations of samples are ordered and received in a timely manner
• You will communicate allocation inputs for carrier testing units
• You will manage the logistics of shipping test devices for all regional carrier
• You will create and manage documentation to track testing equipment allocation and inventory
• Manage budget for tests devices procurement, packaging and shipping
• Send and track test devices for all carriers based on the agreed plan
• Support administration of carrier’s Apple connect accounts
• Manage partner SW release content and delivery
• Manage Test SIM card inventory
• You ensure device inventory correctly matches the allocations assigned to respective regions
• You will also be constantly looking for gaps in existing processes and come up with ideas on how to improve them
