Job summary

Roskam Foods in Kentwood, MI, is seeking an Engineering Project Manager II to lead large capital projects from concept to closeout. You will define project scope, coordinate engineers across controls, mechanical, infrastructure, and packaging, and partner with Finance on budgets and cash flows.

Strong communication and vendor management are essential. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 10+ years of PM experience in engineering, with PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience in engineering or related industry.
• Experience leading large capital projects from conception to completion.
• PMI PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead large capital projects from conceptualization through commissioning and closure.
• Define scope, mass flows, equipment needs, and throughput rates.
• Collaborate with Finance on budgets, cash flow, and cost estimates.
• Manage FEL process, schedules, and scope docs.
• Coordinate with Controls, Mechanical, Infrastructure, and Packaging teams.
• Lead Stage-Gate launches with Commercialization and Sales.
• Oversee procurement, vendor relations, and material delivery.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery and closeout.
