Job summary

Terracon Akron is seeking a skilled project manager to lead facilities, environmental, or geotechnical engineering initiatives. You will ensure safe, on-time delivery within scope and budget, coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires a technical bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience (or 9+ years without a degree); PE/PG certification is preferred. You’ll manage resources, risk, and vendor contracts, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 5 years’ related experience, or 9 years’ related experience without a degree.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a small to medium sized engineering project.
• Define project scope, schedule and budget with client or NAM.
• Design, communicate, and implement a project plan for completing the project.
• Lead safety efforts including preparation and compliance with approved safety plan.
• Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Coordinate with APR and other stakeholders for oversight and reviews.
• Coordinate with accounting for financial management of invoicing and collections.
