Job summary

Terracon is seeking an organized Billing Specialist to coordinate project registrations, billing, collections, and procurement for our engineering consulting teams in Dallas, TX.

You will prepare invoices, manage WIP, review contractual terms, and help ensure timely cash flow while adhering to internal controls. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential in coordinating with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 4 years related experience required.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities required.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities essential.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely billing for routine and non-routine projects in accordance with contracts and internal controls.
• Maintain billing schedules and send invoices with backup to clients.
• Process WIP removals and assist with budget management.
• Perform routine collections activities and coordinate with project managers to resolve AR issues.
• Handle procurement tasks including requisitions, invoice reviews, and supplier onboarding.
