Job summary

M&S Engineering, LLC in Spring Branch, TX seeks a Project Coordinator in the Substation Division to perform administrative duties supporting engineering projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and administration to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with specifications.

Duties include planning and scheduling, coordinating resources with vendors and subcontractors, maintaining project files, tracking milestones, monitoring budgets, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in project coordination in engineering/construction/consulting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of engineering processes and terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring docs are current and organized.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to allocate resources.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, vendors, and project teams.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, track milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor budgets and help track expenses and review invoices.
• Identify risks and assist in mitigation strategies.
• Ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate project files and prepare reports and presentations.
