Job summary

M&S Engineering LLC in Spring Branch, Texas seeks a qualified Civil Engineer to join our Substation Division to perform engineering and design duties applying civil/site development principles and foundational work for slabs and piers.

The role emphasizes detail-oriented civil/site and foundation design, collaboration with project teams, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structures and/or site development.
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduation substation design experience.
• Current EIT license in Texas or ability to obtain within 12 months (preferred).
• Current PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 12 months (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Detail civil site and/or structural foundation engineering and design.
• Create/modify design documents, drawings, specs, and bills of material.
• Coordinate project activities with manager, clients and others.
• Prepare scopes, schedules, and budgets; meet schedules and budgets.
• Take on project engineer/manager role as required.
