Job summary

Gulftech International in Florida is seeking an Engineering Project Coordinator to plan, organize, and oversee projects for our engineering and sales teams. The role reports to the Engineering Manager and requires diligent budget, scope, and schedule control to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include creating project scopes, generating schedules, coordinating with production, coordinating shipments, and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 3+ years related experience in project coordination or similar.
• PMP certification is a plus and beneficial for the role.
• Strong knowledge of project scope, schedule, and budget in a technical environment.
• SolidWorks CAD skills or equivalent 3D CAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create project scopes, objectives, and budgets with sales and engineering.
• Generate project schedules and track milestones.
• Interface with production planning, manufacturing, and operations to facilitate equipment preparation.
• Coordinate equipment shipments and installation activities; travel may be required.
• Report status to management on schedules, budgets, and technical issues; identify risks and mitigation strategies.
