Penn State University’s Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) seeks an Engineering Project Adviser to join the Command, Control, and Communications Innovations team. Work is on-site in State College, PA, collaborating with program managers, engineering teams and sponsors to ensure successful project execution and compliance with security requirements.

The role supports budgeting, field testing, and hardware evaluation, with opportunities to travel to government facilities.

Competenze

Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project.
Strong written and verbal communication; experience with vendors, subcontractors, engineers and customers.
Understanding of NISPOM and security procedures.

Mansioni

Collaborate with Program Managers and engineering teams to manage projects end-to-end.
Interface with systems for budgeting and financial tracking.
Support planning, budgeting, scheduling and tracking of deliverables.
Procure components and coordinate assembly and testing of systems.
Prepare presentations and reports.
Analyze costs, schedules and milestones to manage risks.
Generate financial status reports for stakeholders.
Travel to US Military and Government facilities for field testing.
