Job summary

Penn State University’s Applied Research Laboratory in State College, PA seeks an Engineering Project Adviser to support rapid development of complex engineering systems. You will collaborate with technical leads to plan projects, prepare presentations, and manage program costs and milestones for DoD-related research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination.
• Experience with project management documentation and reporting.
• Ability to express ideas clearly to drive understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning and development of project management work products.
• Create and review presentations and reports for project reviews.
• Analyze program costs, schedules, and milestones to assess risk.
• Report to ARL project leadership and external collaborators.
• Develop and manage technical and financial status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with Program Managers, Lead Systems Engineers, and Principal Investigators to ensure timely execution.
