Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Engineering Program Manager with Structural Engineering proficiency to support the development and implementation of design standards across multiple building programs.

This role serves as the primary liaison between internal design stakeholder teams, the Design and Construction team, external design teams, and general contractors to aid design development and increase standardization across all Amazon building sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Professional Engineer License required.
• Experience in project management or construction advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time completion and budget adherence.
• Develop detailed project plans with schedules, budgets, and resources; coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Provide technical leadership on engineering systems, review designs, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Lead and mentor engineers, designers, and PMs; set goals and evaluate performance.
• Establish and maintain quality control processes; conduct site inspections and resolve issues.
• Serve as primary client contact for engineering matters; manage expectations and communications.
• Develop and manage program budgets; monitor costs and implement cost-saving measures.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; manage change orders and safety compliance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and drive continuous improvement.
