Job summary

Evolving Solution Services seeks an Engineering Project Manager to lead and coordinate engineering and manufacturing projects in a regulated medical environment. You will plan, schedule, execute, track risks and costs, and drive cross-functional communication to support new product development, changes, and documentation control.

You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Procurement, Marketing, and Sales to ensure projects finish on time, within scope, and compliant with quality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Management, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 4–7 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering project management, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools, methodologies, and project lifecycle phases.
  • Proficiency with project scheduling and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Excel, ERP systems (e.g., IFS Cloud), FileMaker, and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical assembly drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple engineering and manufacturing projects of moderate complexity from initiation through completion.
  • Develop, maintain, and track project schedules, task lists, milestones, and dependencies using standard project management tools.
  • Execute projects according to approved scope, timelines, and resource plans, escalating risks and issues as needed.
  • Support project planning activities including scope definition, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Procurement, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, track action items, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment between functional teams on project priorities, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Identify project risks and issues and support development of mitigation plans.
  • Maintain risk logs, issue trackers, and action registers; escalate concerns in a timely manner.
  • Support project cost tracking and ensure cost analyses align with approved Project Charters or Intake Sheets.
  • Track and report basic project performance metrics such as schedule adherence and milestone completion.
  • Assist in resolving documentation discrepancies and ensuring timely completion of required updates.
  • Ensure project activities follow established quality system procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation to support audits and reviews.
  • Schedule performance, demonstrated by meeting project milestones and delivery dates.
  • Effective risk tracking, including timely identification, documentation, and escalation of project risks and issues.
  • Stakeholder communication quality, reflected in clear, timely, and accurate project updates.
  • Cost awareness, including accurate tracking and alignment with approved project budgets and scopes.
  • Documentation accuracy and timeliness, supporting audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration, demonstrated by effective coordination and follow-through with project team members.
  • Project organization and execution discipline, including well-maintained schedules, action logs, and status reports.

Job description

The Engineering Project Manager leads and coordinates engineering and manufacturing projects within a regulated medical manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, execution, risk tracking, cost awareness, and cross-functional communication to support new product development, product changes, and documentation control. The position works closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirement.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution
  • Manage multiple engineering and manufacturing projects of moderate complexity from initiation through completion.
