Job summary

GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH) invites applications for an Engineering Program Leader to own and drive New Plant Introduction programs for next-generation nuclear plants. You will lead multiple engineering disciplines, coordinating with partners, subcontractors, and customers to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

You will shape the program vision, manage interfaces, and report progress to senior leadership while safeguarding nuclear safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related science or technical discipline.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in engineering design and/or project leadership.
• At least 6 years of experience in the nuclear industry or equivalent large scale new build experience in the power industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide program leadership for a diverse team accountable for on-time and on-budget delivery of design product programs.
• Establish and manage the technical interface between all internal and external parties involved in the program.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other internal engineering team managers, business leaders, and stakeholders.
• Interface with external partners, customers, and regulatory agencies on technical issues as required.
