Job summary

GE Energy (Finland) Oy is seeking a seasoned Program Leader to drive design engineering programs in the nuclear sector. You will report to the General Manager, Design Engineering, and lead a diverse team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while coordinating with internal teams, external partners, customers and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related discipline.
• 8+ years in engineering design or project leadership.
• 6+ years in nuclear industry or equivalent large-scale power build.

Responsibilities

• Lead design engineering programs to deliver on time and on budget.
• Establish and manage interfaces between internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal engineering managers, business leaders and customers.
• Coordinate with external partners, customers, and regulatory agencies on technical issues.
• Develop estimates and schedules, manage change orders and corrective actions.
• Report progress, performance and manpower utilization, highlighting delays and risks.
