360 Recruiting Group is seeking a passionate engineering leader in Waterbury, CT to oversee engineering and new product development from concept through commercialization, partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations.

The role drives product quality, cost, manufacturability, and speed-to-market, builds a high-performing team, and ensures strong engineering processes. Requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years in manufacturing leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading products from concept through commercialization.
• Knowledge of CAD, ERP, and PDM/PLM systems; DFMEA/PFMEA and PPAP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, product development, validation, and product launches.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Manage engineering priorities, resources, projects, and timelines.
• Drive improvements in product quality, cost, manufacturability, and speed-to-market.
• Establish strong engineering processes, standards, and project controls.
• Provide technical and cross-functional leadership.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean/DFM initiatives.
