Qualifications

• BA or BS Degree in Engineering with 10+ years in manufacturing of electro-mechanical equipment.
• 5+ years in a managerial role with supervision of engineers.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; digital literacy.
• Budget planning, planning and strong communication.
• Experience with Six Sigma/Lean/TPM and NPI readiness.
• Onsite work in New Castle, Delaware; SAP/ERP exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers to improve productivity and safety.
• Oversee development and optimization of manufacturing processes and assembly, testing, tooling, and failure analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement through DFMA, value stream mapping, Kaizen and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety and Quality policies and ISO9001 standards.
• Collaborate across finance, operations, supply chain to drive efficiency and financial recovery.
• Support New Product Introduction and manufacturing readiness in cross-functional teams.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets and capital equipment investments.
• Mentor engineers to collaborate with design, quality, maintenance, and production teams.
