Job summary

Moog is seeking an Engineering Continuous Improvement & Process Manager in Buffalo, NY, to establish procedures, standard work, and KPIs aligned with AS9100 and customer needs. You will lead a team of project, process, and digital engineers, driving cross‑functional engineering improvements and process development.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget for improvement projects, coach teams in Lean practices, and ensure process artifacts are maintained in central IT repositories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical degree required; Master’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related technical degree is preferred.
• 10 years of experience in design and development engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role required, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in facilitating change initiatives that have a broad impact with many stakeholders and a variety of stakeholder needs.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple competing projects across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Proven capabilities in managing and working collaboratively within a multicultural, geographically dispersed environment are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Engineering Project & Process Group team, including recruiting, developing, and motivating staff; budgeting responsibilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering Leadership to prioritize and deliver new processes and improvement initiatives within engineering.
• Develop processes maps and control matrices; identify KPIs and enable process governance.
• Provide advisory services on decision-making, governance, and Lean implementations for engineering leaders.
• Represent Engineering on the BMDL Document Approval Board (DAB).
