Job summary
Moog is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Buffalo, NY to oversee a team of engineers and drive next‑gen manufacturing technologies. You will lead projects from concept through production and collaborate across engineering, operations and management to deliver impactful improvements.
The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing engineering, robotics, or automation, with strong leadership and technical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field; Master’s or advanced degree highly desirable.
- 7+ years of relevant experience including projects in manufacturing engineering, industrial robotics, automation and control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor others.
- Knowledge of TRL and MRL concepts and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, test and implement Advanced Manufacturing technologies across products and processes.
- Manage 4–5 Advanced Manufacturing Engineers and prioritize projects.
- Communicate requirements with collaborators and suppliers for project success.
- Develop relationships with manufacturing research organizations and universities.
