Job summary

Olsson is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager (PM III) to join our Facility Engineering and Design Team in Omaha, Nebraska. You will lead multidisciplinary projects from concept through completion and partner with clients and internal teams to ensure quality, scope, schedule and budget are met.

This role requires strong communication, team leadership, and problem-solving, with experience guiding engineering or design projects in a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience leading engineering or design projects in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Understanding of project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, budget, coordination).
• Ability to balance technical contributions with project leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary facility engineering design projects from planning through completion.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and performance.
• Coordinate between engineering disciplines, designers, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to design reviews as needed.
• Support collaboration across teams to ensure alignment and quality.
• Communicate project updates clearly to internal teams and clients.
• Identify and manage project risks, changes, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.
