Job summary

Datadog is seeking a senior individual contributor to shape engineering talent strategy and programs. You will own end-to-end initiatives from framing with senior leaders to delivering scalable programs that support leadership, career architecture, performance, mobility and succession for critical roles.

You’ll stay hands-on, partner with PBPs and executives, and translate AI-driven shifts into practical talent and org design choices.

Qualifications

• Data-fluent and outcome-focused.
• Able to partner with executives and turn ambiguous problems into clear goals.
• Strong ability to move from strategy to execution without handing off work.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead complex talent programmes for Engineering, spanning leadership capability, career architecture, org design, performance, internal mobility and succession for critical roles.
• Partner with PBPs and senior leaders to set goals, principles and success measures.
• Address how AI reshapes roles, skills and ways of working and translate into talent and org design.
• Stay hands-on from concept through to adoption; build and run the program.
• Work with Enablement, Learning, People Analytics and People Systems to scale initiatives.
• Provide PBPs with frameworks, tools and executive-ready narratives.
