Datadog’s People Technology team is building the future of AI at work. We’re seeking a People Systems Developer to design and deploy AI-native workflows that transform how we hire, develop, and support our employees.

This is a high-impact hands-on builder role with autonomy and stakeholder partnership. Join a hybrid Datadog culture and productionize AI-enabled HR systems across talent acquisition, onboarding, performance, workforce planning, and internal service delivery.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software/automation experience, especially with AI-enabled workflows.
• Proven ability to build and integrate LLM-powered features into production systems.
• Strong API integration and workflow automation experience with common tools.
• Familiarity with HR systems (Workday/Greenhouse or similar).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy AI-enabled workflows and tools from PoCs to production.
• Prototype with LLMs, APIs, and automation frameworks and productionize validated ideas.
• Integrate AI capabilities with Workday, Greenhouse, Slack, Snowflake, Jira, and Google Workspace.
• Partner with People Analytics, HRBPs, IT, Legal, and Security to ensure usability and compliance.
• Evaluate AI tools through experiments and enable the broader team to adopt AI responsibly.
• Drive adoption and measurable improvements across talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance.
