Job summary

Bunge is seeking Engineering Operations Trainees in Avondale, LA, to join a comprehensive 18-month training program across various facilities. You will gain hands-on experience in safety, operations, and continuous improvement, with potential relocation and future full-time placement.

The program blends hands-on work (70%), informal learning (20%), and formal learning (10%), with opportunities to advance to engineering, supervision, maintenance, or health & safety roles after completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a four year accredited college or university.
• 0+ years of experience demonstrated and promoted safety.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized, goal oriented and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Train, develop and lead safety culture within the facility.
• Participate in day-to-day operation to understand processes (70/20/10 learning).
• Develop understanding of operational processes and KPIs.
• Travel/relocate to other Bunge locations for instruction as needed.
• Assist with reviewing production data and supporting continuous improvement.
