Job summary

Bunge is seeking candidates for an Operations Leadership Trainee program in the United States. The 18-month program develops hands-on leadership in plant manufacturing environments, including safety culture, operations, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Sciences or related field with relevant experience OR associate/vocational degree with 2+ years experience OR 5+ years in Agribusiness or related discipline.
• Demonstrate and promote safety.
• Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and change.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized, goal oriented and self-directed.
• Mechanical and analytical aptitude with strong problem-solving.
• Proficiency in standard PC applications.
• Collaborative team player.
• Willingness to relocate for future growth opportunities.
• Occasional travel

Responsibilities

• Train, develop and lead safety culture through safe work habits.
• Participate in day-to-day operations to understand processes (70/20/10 governance).
• Develop understanding of operational processes and leadership requirements.
• Respond to inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or program manager.
• Travel/relocate to other locations for instructional purposes.
• Support evaluation of operational conditions and communicate findings timely.
• Prioritize and optimize Key Performance Indicators.
• Assist management with projects, drawings, equipment specs, training, start-up.
• Support regional continuous improvement efforts.
• Review production data for accuracy and improvements.
