Job summary

You will own the flow of engineering-purchased material from purchase request through receipt and storage, ensuring visibility, timely delivery, and accurate material identification for assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating engineering-purchased material.
• Ability to track purchase orders from placement to delivery.
• Proficiency organizing and storing material for engineering use.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchase requests for engineering-required materials, components, tools, and supplies.
• Submit or coordinate purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with established purchasing processes.
• Maintain visibility of open orders and expected delivery dates.
• Coordinate receipt and identify discrepancies in received material.
• Establish and maintain organized storage areas and clear labeling of materials.
• Notify engineers when material is received and available for use.
