Job summary

LendingTree is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering Operations & PMO in Charlotte, NC to lead a team of agile project managers and own the operating rhythm for the engineering org. You’ll drive delivery planning, governance, and cross-functional alignment with Technology, Product, Finance, and Analytics.

The role emphasizes people leadership, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering operations, or a related role.
• Proven experience building and leading delivery governance and prioritization for multi-team engineering.
• Strong people leadership with a track record of coaching high-performers.
• Excellent facilitation and cross-functional communication with senior stakeholders.
• Experience using delivery data to drive actionable leadership decisions.
• Experience with agile/scrum delivery frameworks; Jira or Asana preferred.
• Familiarity with technology budgeting and financial planning processes is a plus.
• Experience in fintech, lending, or regulated financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of agile project managers supporting engineering teams.
• Own delivery planning, governance rhythm, and monthly goal-setting.
• Surface capacity constraints, dependencies, and trade-offs with senior leaders.
• Translate delivery signals into actions to improve team performance.
• Identify gaps in delivery processes and drive cross-functional improvements.
• Foster relationships across Technology, Product, Program Management, Analytics, and Finance.
• Manage staffing and contracting partner relationships and capacity visibility.
• Drive technology-wide engagement and knowledge-sharing programs.
• Support long-term initiative planning and technology budgeting activities.
• Ensure day-to-day operating processes optimize organizational efficiency.
