Job summary

Terracon's Wichita, Kansas office is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of professionals across multiple service lines. The role includes managing profit/loss, supervising staff, and driving project execution with a focus on safety and quality.

The position also oversees an additional satellite team in Garden City, KS, and partners with regional offices to grow client development and firm capabilities. Strong leadership and broad engineering consulting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 12+ years of related experience.
• Prior people management with P&L experience required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medium sized office and satellite office supporting multiple service lines with aggregated booked labor revenues.
• Supervise projects within the technical disciplines practiced by the organization.
• Evaluate workloads in the office and oversee employee lifecycle (recruitment, hiring, performance management, salary administration).
• Coordinate with corporate marketing and firm technical experts for proposals as needed.
• Direct and participate in the execution of the office’s business development efforts.
• Prepare office annual and financial business plans and budgets within approved limits.
