Job summary
Novelis, a world leader in aluminum recycling and rolling, seeks a Director of Engineering & Operations Support to establish a new NA organization and report to the SVP, Operations, North America. You will lead senior engineers and managers across multiple plants to drive engineering, reliability, maintenance and quality initiatives.
The role requires hands-on leadership, strategic oversight of capital projects, and the ability to influence across a matrix organization while ensuring safety and
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 15+ years leading manufacturing engineering teams.
- Experience managing managers and multi-site teams.
- Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
- Ability to influence executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a centralized engineering, reliability, maintenance, and quality organization across North America.
- Ensure projects meet safety, environmental, regulatory, and management-of-change requirements.
- Prioritize and deploy technical resources by safety, impact, risk, and value.
