Job summary

KBR is seeking an Engineering Operations Manager in Jacksonville, FL to oversee skilled technicians and mechanics in maintaining material handling and construction equipment, water systems, mobile power generators, fuel systems and HVAC equipment for MPF operations.

The role requires leading a diverse team, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with government regulations, and coordinating with customers and management on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• 10 years of directly related maintenance/logistics experience.
• 6 years of supervisory experience in maintenance/logistics.
• BS degree in industrial engineering or logistics management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate department activities to optimize equipment, facilities, and personnel.
• Analyze expenditure, financial, and operations reports to improve efficiency.
• Serve as primary interface between customer and daily operations for the Engineer section.
• Create and enforce a safe work environment per site regulations.
• Ensure completed work meets specifications and schedules.
• Prepare management reports and maintain policies/procedures.
