Job summary

Mission Driven Research, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Operations Lead to support the Missile Defense Agency's Targets and Countermeasures program.

You will serve as the central operational integrator for Targets Systems Engineering, managing executive rhythms and cross-directorate communications with prime contractors and partner labs. You will coordinate tasking in ETMS2, oversee governance and lifecycle documentation, and ensure timely briefs to leadership.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10+ years of related professional experience.
• Demonstrated track record managing operational battle rhythms and executive briefings for senior leaders.
• Direct experience tracking and adjudicating review comments using formal systems.
• Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle documentation (CARD, SEP, PESHE).
• Strong admin rigor in routing executive correspondence and Staff Summary Sheets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Working knowledge of ETMS2 or similar tasking systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive engineering battle rhythm for Targets Systems Engineering (DTTE).
• Coordinate weekly/biweekly staff updates and prepare leadership pre-brief packages.
• Manage ETMS2 action officer operations and tasking triage for Congress/OSD.
• Oversee governance lifecycle docs and baseline configuration control.
• Coordinate cross-directorate communications with prime contractors and labs.
