Job summary

EY is seeking an Engineering Administrator to act as the operational backbone for a fast-moving engineering organization. This dedicated role removes friction, coordinating across functions and handling recurring administrative tasks to keep teams productive and compliant.

The ideal candidate excels at organization, detail, and proactive problem-solving, with ownership of tasks end-to-end in a hybrid, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required by the role.
• 3+ years in admin/operations roles, ideally supporting a technical team.
• Experience managing renewals, procurement, budgets, or vendor coordination.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the software license lifecycle: procuring, renewing, tracking, reallocating, and retiring licenses and SaaS subscriptions.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships: coordinating quotes, contracts, renewals, and points of contact.
• Handle procurement and purchasing: raising purchase requests and orders, tracking approvals, reconciling invoices.
• Track and support the team’s operational budget: monitoring spend and maintaining records for leadership.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics: accounts, hardware, access requests, provisioning, and deprovisioning.
• Maintain hardware and asset inventory: tracking equipment and repairs.
• Administer access and account requests: approvals across systems and keeping records current.
• Keep team documentation organized: trackers, distribution lists, and SOPs.
• Support compliance and audit readiness: licensing, procurement, asset records, and reporting.
• Serve as a central point of coordination: routing requests and resolving operational issues.
