Responsibilities

• Support the team with technical and engineering knowledge and data.
• Examine problem areas and efficiency opportunities and devise solutions.
• Determine process and equipment modifications required to achieve desired changes.
• Conduct experiments, document results, prepare reports, and present findings to management regarding process and equipment modifications.
• Implement authorized program trials; monitor, measure, examine, validate, and report results.
• Document programs, including procedures, timing, and costs.
• Initiate and implement permanent process changes and manage related implementation projects with vendors, manufacturing management, and production, quality, and engineering staff.
• Provide production support through process parameter control, process design, and changes.
• Train staff as required to implement process or equipment improvements, scrap reduction, and productivity improvements.
• Respond to and investigate customer product complaints.
• Examine products or product-utilization results and identify specific problems.
• Analyze data, determine problem causes, conduct root cause analysis, recommend solutions, and follow up to implement or support changes.
• Communicate results to customers and the production team.
• Document incidents for further review and historical files.
• Perform equipment validations, safety audits, and quality audits.
• Adhere strictly to Hydro HSE, quality, and productivity requirements.
