Job summary

LACO Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Assembly Technician III to join our Production Assembly team in Utah. You will build and troubleshoot complex vacuum and leak-testing equipment, reading drawings and BOMs, and owning projects from start to finish.

The role focuses on assembling mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum components, collaborating with Engineering and Test teams, and contributing to continuous improvement. A hands-on problem solver will thrive here.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, BOMs, and assembly docs.
• Proven ability to independently build and troubleshoot complex mechanical equipment.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex mechanical systems from engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Install and integrate mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum components.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and resolve assembly challenges.
• Ensure assemblies meet quality, safety, and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Test teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor less experienced technicians.
