LACO Technologies, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to diagnose, service, repair, rebuild, and overhaul helium leak detectors, vacuum pumps, and related instrumentation in Salt Lake City.

You will support customers in aerospace, automotive, medical, and more, working independently and with internal teams to ensure high reliability. The role emphasizes mechanical repair, diagnostic testing, and precise documentation, with a 9/80 schedule and ample training opportunities.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years in equipment service or mechanical repair
• Experience servicing vacuum pumps or similar rotating equipment preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to disassemble/reassemble
• Read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Experience documenting service work and test results
• Certification in electronics/maintenance preferred
• Helium leak testing experience is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and overhaul vacuum pumps and helium leak detectors
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble pump components
• Identify wear and damaged components and replace as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance and functional testing
• Troubleshoot electromechanical systems and use test equipment
• Document repairs, parts used, and test results
• Provide technical support to customers and teams
