Job summary

Toledo Tool & Die in Maumee, Ohio, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing engineering and maintenance for stamping and assembly operations. The role provides technical leadership for process development, press commissioning, new program launches, automation, and continuous improvement while ensuring safe, capable, and cost-effective manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field with 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience managing engineering or technical teams.
• Experience with stamping and assembly operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor manufacturing engineers, automation engineers, maintenance teams.
• Oversee development and continuous improvement of processes, tooling, and equipment.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to hit production goals.
• Support new product launches, engineering changes, and capital projects from concept to production.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all processes.
• Drive lean initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
• Review and approve process documentation, PFMEAs, control plans, and standard work.
