Fanatics Betting and Gaming is seeking an Engineering Manager, Client Services in New York to guide a team delivering the Sportsbook app experience. You will lead engineers, shape strategy with product and design, and drive reliability, observability, and performance across services.

This role requires strong backend experience with Java/Spring, cloud familiarity, and a track record of shipping in Agile environments. Occasional travel to Fanatics offices and on-call duties are expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years of direct engineering management or technical leadership experience managing software engineers.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and growing engineering talent, building high-performing, inclusive teams.
• Strong technical foundation in mobile or client-service systems, with architectural depth to evaluate designs and guide trade-offs.

• Lead team execution and delivery planning with clear ownership and proactive risk management.
