Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking an Engineering Manager in New York to lead and scale engineering teams delivering high-quality software across customer-facing and internal platforms. You will own roadmap, mentor engineers, and partner with product and design.

The role requires managing teams, shipping reliably, and communicating with executives. Occasional travel to Fanatics offices is expected; base salary ranges from $144k to $235k plus benefits.

Formación

• 1+ years of experience managing an engineering team
• 4+ years building scalable, fault-tolerant systems
• Ability to deconstruct architectures for multi-team development
• Able to scope projects with targeted dates
• Negotiate features with Product Management
• Communicate complex tech to engineers, leaders & teams
• Familiar with Agile and SCRUM methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent technical reporting and documentation
• Thrives in hyper-growth environments
• Team-first mentality, willing to do what's needed
• Open to travel to Fanatics offices

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and technical expertise within your engineering vertical
• Build and lead teams delivering software following engineering best practices
• Clarify requirements, negotiate priorities, and manage on-time delivery
• Clear blockers to accelerate progress
• Collaborate with product and design to craft an achievable roadmap
• Drive reliable execution using KPIs and data to improve practices
• Provide updates to executives and stakeholders with KPIs
• Identify where to simplify or extend solutions for best outcomes
• Help recruit, assess and onboard diverse engineers
• Occasional travel to Fanatics offices for events and meetings
