Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to provide leadership and technical oversight for engineering services at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical excellence, and coordinate with program leadership to deliver timely, cost-effective solutions.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and program management skills, with experience in aerospace or large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited university.
• Highly preferred: PE registration or Registered Architect.
• 8–10 years of relevant engineering experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Experience in aerospace, federal, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers across multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.).
• Oversee planning, design, and execution of engineering tasks for planning, design, construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings and structures.
• Drive technical excellence and coordinate with program leadership to deliver high-quality, timely, and cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, company procedures, and quality assurance requirements.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager to align deliverables with client expectations and project objectives.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring, and professional development for engineering staff.
• Monitor performance, schedule, and cost metrics for efficient project execution.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
• Represent the engineering team in meetings with NASA stakeholders and project partners.
