Job summary
ProAg, a member of Tokio Marine HCC, is hiring a Software Engineering Manager, Solutions Architecture in Maple Grove, MN to lead a team of solution architects and drive architectural delivery in an Agile environment.
You will mentor engineers, shape the technical roadmap across AWS/Azure/GCP, and partner with product teams to align with business goals in a hybrid work setting (office Mon–Thu, optional remote Friday).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Approximately 6 years of professional software development experience.
- Approximately 3 years of engineer leadership experience.
- Strong technical background with ability to engage in architectural and design discussions.
- Experience with Agile disciplines, DevOps disciplines, and Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Responsibilities
- Drive people’s careers through mentoring and coaching via regular feedback and reviews.
- Foster a high-performing team culture that supports continuous innovation.
- Serve as a solution architect for one of our domains to ensure the effective delivery of projects and the achievement of business goals.
- Lead a team of solution architects to support all business domains.
- Partner with product teams to understand business roadmaps to define our technical roadmap.
