Qualifications

• 9+ years of software development experience and 3+ years in people management.
• Experience navigating change and evolving priorities; comfortable with ambiguity.
• Experience leading teams across a cloud-based tech stack (AWS preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable working asynchronously and remotely.
• Ability to clear path for the team by providing structure without waiting for perfect information.
• Passion for developing engineers across professional skills.
• Experience at earlier-stage or scale-up companies; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Own the career growth of engineers, with timely feedback, growth planning, and promotions advocacy.
• Partner with Product and cross-functional teams to shape data models, system boundaries, and integration decisions.
• Facilitate execution of the technical roadmap with data-driven decisions, iterative product development, and value delivery.
• Communicate with business stakeholders to translate goals into technical architecture and timelines.
• Collaborate to deliver scalable, stable, and extensible technical solutions.
• Drive progress when requirements are evolving, providing structure to unblock the team.
