Job summary

Panduit seeks an Engineering Manager to lead sheet metal and assemblies from concept to launch. Responsibilities span technical direction, budgets, schedules, and team development. Travel up to 10% is possible as projects span domestic and international scopes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in development engineering with leadership, strong sheet-metal design skills, and experience with NX/Teamcenter and CAD. A bachelor’s in mechanical engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of development engineering experience with at least 3 years in engineering leadership.
• Experience with sheet-metal design, NX and Teamcenter, CAD, and UL certification preferred.
• Experience with Unigraphics a plus; datacenter and enterprise knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple complex product development projects to deliver on time and within scope.
• Make sound technical and project decisions to resolve challenges and maintain momentum.
• Communicate priorities, timelines, and progress with team, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Coach team members, provide performance feedback, and navigate tough conversations.
• Influence cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives across reporting lines.
• Provide technical leadership through complex engineering and new product development initiatives.
