Job summary

Stripe, Inc. is seeking a leader to grow the Sandboxes engineering team, setting direction and operating critical testing systems.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science to shape strategy and deliver reusable testing capabilities across Stripe, enabling developers and agents to build and test integrations safely. Qualifications

4+ years of engineering management experience with teams of 5+ engineers.
8+ years of full-time software development experience.
Experience building reusable software with strong user empathy.
Strong problem-solving and prioritization abilities.
Ability to guide architecture and product design discussions.
Experience leading distributed teams across locations/time zones.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering planning and execution with Design to deliver testing experiences.
Shape strategy and roadmaps with cross-functional partners.
Own delivery from problem definition through rollout and operation.
Uphold high engineering standards across codebases and practices.
Partner with Recruiting to hire engineers and build a diverse team.
Coach and mentor engineers with candid feedback.
