Job summary

Badger Technologies, a division of Jabil, is seeking an Engineering Manager, Robotics & AI to lead a team focused on building and sustaining smart robotic systems and the data services they rely on. This onsite role is based in Lexington, KY.

You will direct ROS/ROS 2 software teams, oversee vision pipelines, deploy real-time AI models on edge devices, and collaborate across engineering to deliver high-quality autonomous systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 12+ years in robotics software, computer vision, AI/ML, autonomous systems; leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of production-grade robotics software.
• Oversee real-time vision pipelines, object detection, segmentation, tracking, and 3D pose estimation.
• Manage ROS/ROS 2 nodes and data collection, annotation, and model optimization for edge devices.
• Coordinate with hardware and cloud teams to ensure integrated, scalable solutions.
