Job summary

TGC Search is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager on Long Island, NY to lead a multidisciplinary team in the development and production of high-performance electronic products. You will drive RF and microwave test development, production fixtures, validation, and documentation.

The role blends hands-on technical contribution with people leadership, overseeing cross-functional collaboration to meet schedules and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10+ years engineering experience, including supervising multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing product lifecycle from development through production.
• Strong understanding of RF and microwave testing and measurement.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment (network analyzers, power meters, spectrum analyzers).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities for transition of products from development to production.
• Oversee design, development, and validation of electrical test boards and production test fixtures.
• Develop test strategies, production test plans, and supporting technical documentation.
• Collaborate with RF/microwave teams to verify functionality and performance.
• Support product qualification, validation, and production release activities.
• Analyze production test data to improve performance and manufacturability.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
