The ideal candidate will manage a 3–7 person team, collaborate with product and cross-functional groups to define the tech roadmap, and maintain hands-on coding for architecture and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of people management or team lead experience.
• Hands-on with technical design and code, maintains IC focus as needed.
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, Python, and Kotlin or Go.
• Familiarity with Java, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Experience in early-stage startups and customer-facing product development.
• Mentoring engineers and integrating AI tools (Claude or Cursor) into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–7 software engineers, supporting growth.
• Partner with product and cross-functional teams to define the technical roadmap.
• Spend 20–30% of time coding, reviewing code, and shaping architecture.
• Guide architectural decisions to build scalable, performant systems.
• Promote high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and engineering practices.
