Job summary

WestRock Company in Delaware Water Gap, PA seeks an Engineering Manager at the Stroudsburg paper mill. You will supervise engineering personnel, drive safety, and ensure high-quality, on-time execution of maintenance and capital projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating with operations, responding to emergencies, and leveraging JDE for work order management, while upholding the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Paper Science preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in heavy industry.
• Ability to coach, teach, and mentor technical and non-technical staff.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to build financial models for project selection.
• Demonstrated ability to execute complex projects in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate engineering personnel within the mill.
• Ensure safety of the workforce and enforce safety programs.
• Monitor staff performance and report on work execution.
• Manage capital projects within the mill.
• Coordinate maintenance work with operations and respond to emergencies.
