Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Delaware Water Gap, PA to lead electrical and mechanical maintenance teams in a heavy-industrial mill. The role focuses on safety, quality execution, and efficient work delivery under the maintenance and engineering manager.

Responsibilities include safety program enforcement, equipment maintenance, capital-project support, spare parts inventory, and on-call rotation. Requires a BS in Engineering and 5+ years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• BS – Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years maintenance supervisory experience in heavy industry.
• Excellent problem solving ability.
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct and coordinate maintenance personnel (electrical and mechanical).
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and plant safety standards.
• Provide technical support for installation, maintenance procedures and start-up of new equipment.
• Coordinate with operations to plan and execute maintenance in process areas.
• Maintain and manage work orders in JDE; use Kronos for timekeeping.
• Maintain knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreement and environmental policies.
