Job summary

Torc Robotics in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Manager, Engineering - Release Pipelines to lead the build, release, and automation strategy for safety-critical software used in autonomous trucks.

You will own the build infrastructure roadmap, drive performance of release pipelines, and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring hermeticity, reliability, and timely delivery across complex software components and embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of Engineering Management Experience.
• Strong strategic planning for build infrastructure and release pipelines.
• Deep understanding of build systems and workflow engines (Temporal).

Responsibilities

• Develop build automation tooling and release pipelines.
• Implement complex workflow automation using Temporal.
• Work with Bazel, BuildStream, and other high-speed build systems.
• Integrate with 3rd-party work tracking, requirements systems, and hardware testing platforms.
