Job summary

Torc in Fort Worth, Texas seeks an Engineering Manager for Release & Configuration Management to lead the release lifecycle of Torc’s autonomous driving software stack. You will drive release coordination, agile release trains, and configuration management across engineering teams.

The role requires 10+ years in software build/integration/test, 2+ years managing direct reports, and strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in software build, integration and test systems
• 2+ years experience managing a team of direct reports
• Experience with complex embedded systems including ADAS technologies
• Experience with software release tools (build systems, versioning, defect management, source control)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Experience delivering production systems from early prototypes to launch

Responsibilities

• Deliver through your team and collaborate across teams to release high quality system releases for Torc’s autonomous driving product line.
• Maintain a rapid engineering development schedule for self-driving software stack with managed releases.
• Collaborate with Development, fleet, V&V and product management for planning, execution and delivery of releases
• Coordinate feature deliveries, bug fixes, risks, release notes and change logs for test and release candidates
• Manage impact analysis supporting the product roadmap
• Lead regular release trains with Git branching, versioning, impact analysis, and release meetings
• Identify and report release artifacts across the product lifecycle
